My Spring 2018 Top Workout Songs

I am one of those people that switch between listening to audiobooks and music when I workout. However, when I listen to an audiobook all day I like to switch it up and pump out the workout songs when gym time hits. I love switching up my playlist so that I don’t get bored. So, I decided to put a compilation of my top workout songs for this spring! Enjoy!

Psycho- Post Malone

I found this one about a month ago and have essentially had it on repeat since. Workout songs don’t necessarily have to be heart pounding. This one just has a beat that you can roll with. That is what I love.

Trap Queen- Fetty Wap

This one comes on and all bets are off. I might just bust a move in the middle of the gym. In fact, I have several times. A little risqué, a little raw, and definitely has a beat.

Candy Paint-Post Malone

I like to call this my shoulder song. There are just certain songs that work with certain muscle groups. Just like when I do deadlifts I like to listen to down and dirty rock. This one keeps a rhythm for movements like lateral raises and shoulder presses. Call me crazy but notice how you feel when you listen to certain songs and match them up with certain movements.

What Lovers Do- Maroon 5

Another dance party song right here. This one is a great cardio song! Plug in and get cranking!

Werkin’ Girls- Angel Haze

This one is a little risqué, a little raw, and potentially a little offensive depending on your taste. If you don’t like rough language in a song, don’t download this one. However, if you like something a little edgy to crank out those hard reps, dive in.

Meant to Be- Bebe Rexha

This one is crowd pleaser. A little on the smoother side, comforting, but with enough of a beat so that it isn’t boring to listen to.

The Middle- Zedd Grey

Yes, its a cliché. They even have a Snapchat filter for this song. However, it is bouncy, fun, and motivating!

Stargazing- Kygo

This one is on the list of workout songs because of its upbeat sound. I love to listen to this one in the middle to end of my run because it has a building beat that seems to build your energy.

Strip That Down- Liam Payne

This is a song that can be slightly embarrassing in the gym. Listen to this one in between sets because you are going to want to dance to the whole thing. At least I do 😉

Radio Jam- Upchurch

This one is an excellent jam out session. More like Meant to Be than the rest of the workout songs. A mix of country and rap in the same song. Does it get any better?

It Wasn’t Me- Shaggy

Again, a song that maybe puts a toe over the line. Ok, it puts both feet over the line. It has a good beat, it is entertaining, but if you don’t care for over the line songs don’t go for this one.

I Fall Apart- Post Malone

This one is a little slower, but has its moments. Definitely a good one to download no matter what mood you are in.

That is a list of my top 12 workout songs for spring 2018. Some of them are crowd pleasers. Some of them you have to like a certain type of music for. Download a couple, or all, of them to ramp up your playlist and make some serious gains in the gym!
