A Day in the Life: Full Day of Eating

I am addicted to a day in the life videos on YouTube. A couple of my favorites are Heidi Somers and Amanda Bucci. For some reason it is weirdly entertaining to watch someone else, perhaps because we can forget about our own day to day life for a bit. However, I decided that it was time for me to share a snippet from a day in the life of me! A lot of people wonder what fitness coaches and fitness influencers eat on a day to day basis. Here is a typical full day of eating for me!

a day in the life

The picture above shows a 2 week progression on my reverse diet!

Current Stats

Height: 5’1

Weight: 121

Age: 22

Current Nutrition Plan

Reverse diet with goals to hit 2045 cals, 145g protein, 220g carbs, and 65g fat on training days.

Current Goals

Increase lean muscle mass while doing a mini body fat cut. This is due to a bulk that I did post bikini show this summer. I am about 3-4lbs heavier than my “happy” weight where I feel strong, lean, and athletic!

A Day in the Life: Typical Full Day of Eating

Meal 1:

Almond Milk – 1 Cup, 0.5 Cup

Optimum Nutrition Vanilla – Protein Energy, 2 scoop

Chobani – Peanut Caramel Satisfaction “flip”, 150 gram

Meal 2:

Julian Bakery – Primal Thin Sweet Cream, 1 bar

HappyBaby – Apples Kale & Avocados, 1 pouch

Meal 3:

Natures Own – Whole Wheat, 2 slice

Born 3 Eggs With Omega-3s – Egg, 2 large egg (53 g)

Power Crunch Red Velvet – Protein Bar, 1 bar

Dove Chocolate, 1 pieces

Meal 4:

Flapjacked – Cinnamon Apple Mighty Muffin, 1 muffin

Meal 5: Eaten at Chipolte

Cilantro-Lime White Rice, 4 oz

Romaine Lettuce (tacos), 1 oz

Steak, 4 oz

Meal 6:

Quaker Oats – Rice Cakes, 4 Cake

Hannaford – Strawberry Spread , 2 tablespoon

Notice that I did not hit my macros perfectly. You will have days where you hit the nail right on the head. However, as long as you get close to the numbers you will see results!! No one is perfect, life happens, and we have to roll with it. In a perfect world, I would eat only “clean”, whole, natural foods. However, with my crazy class schedule and on the go lifestyle means I eat a lot of protein bars and shakes. THAT IS OK. I eat whole natural foods when I can and don’t sweat it when I can’t. Don’t change your lifestyle to fit your diet. Find a way of eating that fits your lifestyle.
